Middle of the latest Summer heat waves is coming to an end. Almost midnight here and it's still hazy, hot, and humid. Just how I LOVE it! I wish it was like this every day! Only trouble is I can't sleep yet again. Better find ways to entertain myself I guess.

So as I drive to and from work daily I'm left with these questions....
Does anyone use a sidewalk anymore? Really. I'm tired of driving down roads that have perfectly good sidewalks and have to dodge and drive around people that are riding bikes down the middle of the road, or just walking or even just STANDING in the road. Or just roll the dice and gamble as they step off the curb right in front of you knowing you'll have to slam on the breaks to not send them flying. And then they give an angry look as you go by them like you're the one that's at fault. Um, sorry... That's what the sidewalk is for, unless I missed the vote that says the road is for all that stuff now and I'm the one that's supposed to be on the sidewalk...
And while I'm at it. If you're the only car on a road and someone comes to an intersection and is going to turn onto the road why must they sit there and wait until you're right up to that intersection and then floor it to get out in front of you... Only to then go half as fast as you were going before they pulled out in front of you. If you're in that much of a hurry you couldn't wait for me to go past before pulling out at least do HALF the speed limit and not drive 10 MPH down the road. Or do the smarter thing, WAIT FOR ME TO GO PAST!!! Do that and you can drive as slow as you want and I wouldn't care....

So tired, beyond tired even but can't sleep again. 3rd night in a row now. Only 6 and a half hours sleep the last 2 nights combined and I'm up and watching the clock again tonight. The storm went through so I can't even watch that and listen to the rain... Oh well, guess I'll flip channels for a while and see if I finally crash.

Should already be sleeping because tomorrow starts another Mon-Sat work week but I'm not tired yet. The race is at the track not far from here today, nice and sunny everywhere on the east coast except at the track. Go figure! Got to love Pa! Hopefully they'll get the race in sooner or later today, any suggestions to kill time until they do?

Just my luck to have to work the holiday weekend, but my reward is today off. What a day! I wish it would be like this all year! Not much in the plans for the nice day, some shopping and running around and then if I feel like cleaning the truck I'll do that. Otherwise just enjoying the heat & the sun....

Such a nice day and I have it off. Should I sleep in & do nothing? Get a good day of playing in? Wake up early and enjoy the day WITH a little bit of play thrown in, just because..... Who all uses IM or chat on the site? I don't get into the chat much for the same reasons the IM drives me crazy but I try to at least turn on the IM every time I'm online.....
If you see me on and want to chat send me a message... Since I use IE only the old HTML versions work with it so you may need to send the message a couple times before I get to see it and it's also horribly slow so it'll be a few seconds between replies..... But don't be shy, send me a message....

What a wild day. Heavy rains and wind all day, now thatit's getting colder it's still raining and v ery windy but sleet and some wet snow starting to mix in soon too. I don't know if I should build an ark or get the snow shovel back out.... Summer can't get here soon enough!!!!
