Ahhhhh....The Sounds Of Christmas

. [/COLOR I turn on the radio and there it is....A Christmas song to put us in the mood, as if we weren't already, lol. Music and Holidays just seem to go hand in hand, don't they? Love songs for Valentine's Day, Inspirational music for Thanksgiving and those wonderful carols for that magical time called Christmas . I think my all time favorite is Bing Crosby's White Christmas but I'm down with Grandma Got Run Over By A Riendeer too. Hey!! Nothing wrong with a bit of holiday humor Christmas carols just seem to make the season so much more fun for me anyway. So tell me what your Favorite Christmas Carol is and Why you like it better than the rest. Come on!! Don't be shy now.

Spinal Tap's "Christmas With The Devil" is my favorite. So fucking funny! "The elves are dressed in leather and the angels are in chains..." http://Senior Sizzle.com

I personally love all of the parody Christmas songs. Twisted Christmas what a great cd. Traditional carols I would have to say Jingle bell rock. Happy Ho Ho Girlfriend.

I like Silverbells. Not sure why with all the choices. Bing Crosby sang that too.

"Silver Bells" is a classic Christmas song, composed by Jay Livingston and Ray Evans.

"Silver Bells" was introduced by Bob Hope and Marilyn Maxwell in a motion picture called The Lemon Drop Kid in 1951. The first recorded version was by Bing Crosby and Carol Richards in 1952, which also became a hit in late 1952. The lyrics are unusual for a Christmas song in that they describe the holiday in the city, and not a rural setting. The song was inspired by the imagery of Salvation Army bellringers standing outside department stores during the Christmas season.

Hey ya left off the 12 Redneck days of Christmas. Have a good week.
