First Post! (Fark timewarp, wheeee!)

Just starting the blog to while away some time. Been searching the online personals since july, with a whole one date with somebody who would have been a moped, had I actually been attracted to her. It's remarkable to me how so many people claim to be looking so hard, but choke up the moment you actually ask them to communicate with you. The digital is cold and uncaring, with no context, only mutable shifting turncoat words. Words in isolation, a semi-random string of electrons buzzing down the wire and into my eyes like tiny buzzing hurty things. Bees maybe. Like the doom bees from the Jhonen Vasquez addition to the one Lenore collection, but not trying to fly up my butt. I'm coming to hate words. Maybe I should learn to be telepathic, so long as it's hard to get confused when it's mind to mind direct.

Speaking of which, is there something not so awkward to say when you'd like to start exchanging messages with someone? You can't really say talk, exchange messages/e-mails/etc is just too bulky, communicate is just one word but sounds weird.

RK~
I'll start by saying welcome to blogland. My first blog was pretty cynical as well. Full of frusteration and bitterness. As a matter of fact, I think that my first 4 were probably like that. Now, most of my time spent on this particular site is in blogland. It is cleansing for me. I've met ore people through here that are actually worth getting to know than all of the emails and profile cruising combined. I will say good luck to you, it is far more challenging for a man on this site than it is for a female. We don't have as much competition. I think for every one man there is one female that is not an advertisement or a robot. But, men also tend to place a lot more emphasis on superficial things . . . so, I guess the pendulum swings both ways sometimes. I wish you luck. All in all, welcome to the blogging world, and maybe we'll cross paths again sometime.

Okay, so maybe the last gf left me feeling a tad bitter. And here I thought I was doing so nicely with a minimum of drama.
