 I've done the family fighting, hell who hasn't? I eventually said pretty much to hell with most of those assholes! I can write-off family just as quick as any-other. Its great.

 don't have any contact with your husband, sounds like trouble, as far as your sis and her husband, keep the contact with them to the bare minimum and seek out people that appreciate you.

It's my brother that is in Jail, I am widowed. I avoid my sister and her husband as much as I can while still maintaining a relationship with the kids. Which means I only have to spend any amount of time with the sister and her husband once a year.
