Virtual Relationships
Virtual Relationships Here we all are, sitting in the virtual world chatting away, sharing pictures, emojis, video chats, chats, Vlogs, feeling as if we are never alone, all alone in our rooms. Separated yet connected. When does fiction become fact? When do these "relationships" take on meaning? When do these people that you've never met IRL work their way into your daily conversation. When do these relationships take on an importance? I have a virtual boyfriend. We met on Tinder and quickly moved over to WhatsAp. We've never met, we chat on occasion (video and ph) and actually have people in common who now when I see them ask about my VBF. We have an anniversary coming up. Yes, a year since we both swiped right, on Apps no less! While I could pick his cock out of a line up and most of my friends know who he is, there's still so much missing from our relationship. Not only the obvious, physical compnt. I don't know the array of emotions that flit across his features when he's thinking, I've never heard his voice raised in anger or excitement, only the sexy barit rumble of late night talks. How many of you have met people you'll never meet or who've successfully "crossed over"? Tell me your story. |

Interesting. Just reading this response. But that was my question, when does fiction become fact? When does fantasy become reality? Chatting for chatting sake is never satisfying, I have to do enough of that IRL!
