One nighters

Since I'm in a relationship, even though it's a long distance one during the semester, I mostly have one nighters. In high school, I had a few regulars, friends with bennies guys, but I haven't clicked with anyone enough to have someone I'd call a FWB. I've had some repeats, but no one regular.

I was close last year to seeing someone more often, but after the third time we had fun, I found out he was cheating on his bf. I'm not comfortable with guys who cheat. It seems to me if you're in a relationship and you want to fool around, you should be open with your partner. He was being dishonest with his partner and dishonest with me too.

Anyone disagree?

 I do not fault you for your point of view and I suspect it is the majority viewpoint. I used to view it that way as well but time has brought me to a different perspective. Usually these days I come down on the side where I view it as an issue is between the two in the relationship and I am an outsider to that issue. I too have found out that someone I am messing with is in a relationship that is not intended to be open; it is an issue that usually works itself out one way or another -- either the person becomes single or stops cheating (for now). In at least one situation it resulted in the other person in the couple to agree to try an open relationship. In the final analysis, we do not get to judge other people, their actions or their choices -- each belongs entirely to that person. We also get to choose whether we partake with someone we know or suspect to be cheating.
