Where am I going wrong

It seems, that everyone I contact seems to be fake or want something completely different from what their profile states.

I dont get it am I the only one?

 The vetting process is working... but it seems the only people that respond are the fakes, or those wanting something (other websites, etc). It seems that most of my emails go unanswered, which frustrates me, as i rather a "no thank you" then no answer at all. As for sucking it up, i have been for a while in the hopes things would change... but it seems like lately it has become worse.

 We are misunderstanding each other, you can't really vet anyone until you start to talk to them. Once you do within a message or two, its is evident if its a scam or not. Vetting is much more than just viewing a profile. There are some clues that they are scammers, like accepting hundreds of friend requests a day.

As for my e-mails, I generally try to keep them short, i introduce myself, comment on their profile, invite them to look at my profile and then invite them to talk to see where things go. I will generally (99 only e-mail those who's profiles clearly state what they are looking for, in the event they are not clear, I will ask in my introduction.

I do not use vulgarity, or ask what are you doing in 10 min? In an e-mail, especially an introduction e-mail.
