Have you ever had high expectations only to have a huge let down?
I guess we all have. How does one overcome these low points?
Sometimes I just want to scream because I put faith in someone or expected something from someone and was hugely dissappointed in the result.
Do I expect too much? Are my expectations just too high? Maybe so,but I expect nothing less from people than I myself would do had I been in their shoes.
It seems like the only people I can trust,other than my GF,are my family members. I say this because blood is thicker than water. Plus I have no family members who live near me.
Should I continue to hold people to high levels of expectations,or should I expect less and then be pleased with how things turn out? I wish I knew.

2 days ago the "king of Pop"-Michael Jackson died suddenly shocking America. I admit I was not a big fan of MJ but
I realize after listening to his songs the last 2 days he had a profound effect on our country. I was curious what others think of his legacy and also what you first thought of when you found out?
I was on Twitter when I found out. I was not necesarially surprised but I was shocked that his death was a sudden one.

I have come to find out recently that there is a whole under belly of people who are on Senior Sizzle strictly for political reasons!

Those on here who know me know about my recent health struggles.
Fortunately I'm on the mend and have been home for about 6 weeks after 4 months of hospitalization and physical therapy. Needless to say--it was the toughest thing I have ever gone through. I actually had to learn to walk again!
