I am looking forward to this spring. I have been following the almanac for the first time. I am excited to see how my planting will do. So far I have planted radishes, onions, beets and lettuce seed.
The radishes have already sprouted and are growing good. I am watching for my onions beets they have been in the ground for two weeks now.
Mondy I will plant potatoes. I look forward to my future garden.

I always wonder what makes people tick. Why do the things they do or believe in certain things.
Some things that are believed or done are based on lies brought to us by our Government, television, radio, news papers and magazines. Are we a nation of idiots who believe anything that is said because it is in print or on air.
The news leaves out important information about the events in our lives. Example the polar bears being protected because of global warming. Do you know that there are more polar bears now than the 1960's.
What about Ethanol do you know that even though it produces less cfc's it also produces formaldehyde.
These ar just a couple of things that bother me. Are we trying to save the earth by making condition worse and more dangerous for our selves.

No gardening today I got up at 8:00 and it is misting out.
Happy mothers day to all the mothers out there. You are very special people who have beget life. That makes you a wonder of the world. Having a is the most blessed event a woman can have.
I watched two of my sons being born. It was a time when I felt the angels of the lord were with us.
Even though I cannot have a being a man, I grow my garden to enjoy life. It is my form of prorecration.
My mom lives in Sacramento, CA and my wife is in Fargo, ND So I have no one to honor mothers day with except my two boys. We probably wont do much today.
Wht plans does every one else have today?

It was a good day in the garden. Today I planted 2 rows of green beans, 2 rows of cow peas and 3 rows of okra. The potatoes are starting to come up. All my plants I planted last week are doing good.
I did some hoeing around my tomato plants. Its amazing how fast weeds grow.

This morning I have been out in the garden since 7:30am to 9:45am. Its a little damp still from the storms we had on thursday here in the piedmont. Its just right though for planting seed.
I wonder what every one else is doing this morning.
