I have to get this off my chest.
There are closeted racists on this site.
Case in point.
BikerMystic implied in a public chatroom that black people in Africa started the AIDS virus by having sex with monkeys.
As a black man I took offense to this statement.
Then he tried to say that since he's married to a woman of mixed race that he wasn't a racist.
As we all know Storm Thumond was a devout racist but he slept with black women and has children by one.
That didn't stop him from opposing the civil right's movement and being an active Klan member for over 40yrs.
For years since the AIDS virus reared it's ugly head, Right wing racist groups in the US, Canada, and Europe has contened that the AIDS virus was somehow started in Africa by black people having sex with monkeys.
That point has been publicly repudiated by every medical organization on the planet.
That argument is used to spread hatred towards people of color and used as a recruitment tool to rally the disenfranchised and those without full knowledge of this epidemic to their side in this ignorant war between the races.
As a person who has lost someone close to me because of this plague..I feel totally offended by this callous and ignorant version of the sad history of the disease and Biker should be ashamed that he brought this matter up in a recreational chatroom that is supposed to be devoid of all things political.
