Winter Blahs

Well here it is...the holidays have left (except Valentines Day) and the snow has become dirty, and unattractive. Winter winds continue to shake the shutters and nor'easters drop their wealth on us over and over. It is a depressing time of the year. So how do YOU handle these long winter days? Do the doldrums set in or do you love the transition towards Spring? Have you had enough of shoveling, slipping, and dealing with ice? Other than a hot lover in which one can get lost in...(literally) lol...what magic do YOU have that gets you past the dark days and fills your heart with light?

What does everyone have planned for the holidays? Will you be with friends or family or a little of both. So many people are lonely this time of year, I often think it is sad the trials of ones life causes them to end up alone and struggling.
I have to work which is ok cause I get extra, and when its calm, my older and I will spend time together.
Remember the joy of giving and helping doesn't end December 26th. If we all lived and treated other people with compassion daily, not only do we brighten their day, but our hearts as well.

The words to this song are really a metaphor for a relationship that has ended. I love the way it shows the awareness that somethings never change, some people never change, they simply turn their back and walk away, impervious to the hurt they left behind.
