Is Internet dating not just for geeks???

So I was thinking the other day about internet dating websites. From the likes of this one which well is not exactly a dating site per se to others that are more or less just that dating sites. I wont name them by name so that this post will actually make it to post. My thought was exactly what the title of this message was, has internet personals gone mainstream.
It used to be thought of that if you need to use the personals or a dating service to meet someone than you must either be lets say not one of the pretty people or have the peronsality of a rock. I know many people thought of it when things were not so well in their love life but the next thought was no I can't use that I am not that much of a loser.
So now I know of several people who use one dating site or another and several that have actually met their spouses on one of these sites. That is not the the surprise though. The surprise is that people are not so ashamed to admit that is where they met their significant other or that they are using a site to find someone.
So when did it become acceptable? Do you feel that it is still a dirty secret? Have you told anyone you use the internet for dating purposes? Would you tell anyone that you do if you have not?

Ok, I am angry. No I am not angry I am furious. Yes I know it is their site and they can run it as they please but at least be reasonable. They make rules that you have to follow but they are ridiculous rules that I would honestly never imagine that I would have to follow because they are stupid to begin with. And if I wanted to find this rule I would have to read a 100 page disclosure document that is written in language that would make an attorney have a wet dream over.
So what rule did I break? What was the criminal offense that caused my account here to be suspended? What terrible crime did I commit?
I sent someone my email address that is an offsite email address prior to my third communication with them. Thats right people, if you contact someone, you can not tell them how to reach you off of this site until you have sent them two messages previously.

Is your skin than thin? Did your mommy not love you? Did your Daddy hit you? Was your best friend the retard that always crapped his pants even in the 12th grade?

jury duty

I just received notice that I have to serve on jury duty. I had the luck, I mean privledge of having to serve about 15 months ago and now I just got hit up again. At first I thought aha I dont have to I already served recently. Only later did I find out it was 3 months after the the 12 month restriction rule. So I am off again to sit in court on a hard uncomfortable chair to see if I can listen to some boring trial lawyers. If I do get selected again, I hope it is for some molesting killer so I can sentence him to death for waisting my time. Or perhaps I can sit on the jury in this picture.
