So tired of the game players on this site. Why is it that people seem to get their jollies by teasing and leading people on but have no intention at all in following through? Guess I just mentioned it, they get their own "jollies" out of doing just that, game playing. And that's also why I'm now close to having 10 full pages of blocked members! Wish Senior Sizzle would bring back the old "voting system" for it's members. At least back then you could get a good idea if someone was a good person or a game player!

Earlier I posted a thought I had on some of the new changes on this site. I did it in a non-nasty way, without curse words, and what I felt was a constructive way. I just discovered that that post was DENIED by whatever person "checks" to see if our posts are "ok" enough to be "okayed." Nice to know that censorship is alive and well.

About the new "standard member access" ads on profile pages...

While I am for "improvements" to the site, I really have an issue with today's new addition of the "standard member access" ad under a member's picture on their profile page! Really, IS it an improvement to put a ad to spend more money in the middle of the fun part of the site?! And this is on ALL pages, including GOLD MEMBER pages, too. Most members who have PAID for a membership have already decided whether or not they want standard members to see our entire profile page. I believe that if a standard member wants to see a full profile, THEY should pay for it, AND we paying members shouldn't have to have this ad front and center every time we open a profile WE PAID to see.

After looking over the new homepage that's coming in March, I have to say once again it really SUCKS! What a fucking mess it is! Whoever the "designer" (and I use that term very losely!) is needs to be fired, and whoever approved the change to this totally unprofessional downgrade should be fired as well! Now I wish I hadn't renewed my paid membership!

Every time I see the mileage in quotes after where a member lives I chuckle. Most all of them are 30 to 40 miles off, if not more. By this I mean 30 to 40 miles short of the true distance. I don't know where Senior Sizzle is getting their mileage numbers but they need to get a clue! This is one thing Senior Sizzle could actually fix with little effort without having to redesign the whole site!

This site really IS going downhill fast! Anyone else "test out" the "new homepage 'design'" - and I use the term "design" loosely?! It looks like it's been created by a 5th grader! What moron thought it will work better?! The site's web designers must be high all the time. In fact, the "new" homepage design SUCK more than the "new message center" the site is forcing on us. After giving it quite a bit of thought, I will NOT be renewing my paid membership come January 3, 2013. The site's desire to fuck itself up with all their "new designs" AND the fact that the membership has dropped so much that about 2/3s of those I check out haven't been logged in for over 3 months. All good things have their day and this site has had it's day . . . about 3 to 5 years ago, frankly. Too bad, this was a great site back then, nowadays not so much.

The last couple of weeks, more and more of my friends and those I've been interested in have "seemingly" been "Online NOW" almost 24 hours a day for days at a time (some for weeks). When I've contacted some of these folks, they said they log out all the time and/or haven't been on for days. So why NOW has yet one more feature to "assist" us in keeping in contact with people screwing up?! Wish there was a way Senior Sizzle could make things work right! Or at least fix things. They have to be aware this, and other things, aren't working right!

The lower right hand "Activities" feature that has been so screwed up the last 9 to 12 months is now even more fucked up! As a gay man, the last thing I want to see is "activities" of women, transsexuals, or much of anything female oriented. BUT, what do you think the "redone" Activities feature now give me? You got it, women and female members and their activities! Same goes for the live cam section and all the adds for "PAID" female on-line "one on one" possibilities (which oddly enough doesn't show up on female members live cam pages - I know because I have a close female friend who sometimes we go on site together on each other's dime!). And as usual, I can't get anyone from Senior Sizzle to respond to my questions about this, let alone fix it. Anybody else getting "Activities" notices that have nothing to do with why you're on this site?!

I'm happy Senior Sizzle has the "blocking" option for eliminating those we don't want bothering us. BUT, I wish blocking someone would also eliminate US from seeing their pictures on the site. There are times that there are 3 or 4 of those I've blocked displayed on the main page. Surely this is something Senior Sizzle could do?! Wonder how I could share this idea with the site's designers?

Trouble with new "redesign" features . . .

Today - May 31st, 2012 - in just the last hour or so, the newest "redesign" has screwed up using and looking at this site once again. Now when I try to look at member's photos, I get the new "generic drawing" instead of their picture. I've tried looking at my network friends photos, hotlist members photos and other photos and NOTHING can be seen but the new generic drawing. My content filter is off so that isn't the problem. And I am a Gold Member so that can't be an issue. I can see their "thumbnails" but in the space where the "larger view" is located I only now get the "generic" figure, which is actually a "new" generic and not the old one the site used to have. This just started happening about an hour or so ago.
Also, the new "!" feature and the old "Alerts" feature are screwing up pretty bad, too. The new "!" won't allow me to remove messages after I've seen them no matter how many times I try. And the old "Alerts" feature keeps running up hundreds of updates and won't let me remove them. Plus, it jumps from a few to several hundred to 50 to many hundred back to nothing with every move I make on the site. The "!" is very annoying and interrupts my use of the site while the "Alerts" is just annoying.
Look, I hate to sound like I'm griping but these things really are making it impossible to use and enjoy the site, particularily the photo viewing issue. Could someone with the site trouble shooting PLEASE look into these problems? I've left posts on each of the three site complaint threads on the site's blog but it seems sometimes things "disappear" there.
You know, without wanting to sound like a major asshole or anything, may I ask why does this kind of major screw up ALWAYS happen when this site tries to "update" the site's design? Don't they have a way to do a test to see if it will cause problems? Just wondering!
Anyway, thought I'd throw this out there. I very much like Senior Sizzle and most of the time enjoy using it. But what's happened today is serious enough to make me wonder if I'll renew my paid membership and stay with the site.
Anybody else having these same problems?

The last week or so, I've had trouble with the ads on this site making noise and not being able to shut them up. Even when I click the sound icon on the lower right corner "off", I still get a very annoying clicking and gerbaling of noise. This really makes being on this site a crappy experience. I finally made a formal complaint but doubt the site will do anything about it. Anybody else having this same trouble? And have you figure out how to shut the ads the fuck up?!

Odd things happening with "Hotlisting"

For the last couple of days, I keep getting "Alerts" that this or that FEMALE has "Hotlisted" me. BUT, when I go to who has viewed me, they don't show up. Now how can someone "hotlist" me when they haven't viewed my profile? It's also just that much more odd because being gay, I'm not in the least interested in females, and my profile states my status more than clearly. Somehow, I think something funny is going on. What do all of you think? Any of you having this or similar things happening?
