Put my pessimistic mind at rest
So, this is the second time I've joined Senior Sizzle. The last was a few years ago, I wasn't really single at the time (I know, that sounds abiguous). Anyway, there's no ambiguity now, I'm definitely on my own, so I thought I'd take another look around.
However, as a standard member still being courted (pushed?) by Senior Sizzle to give them my hard-earned money, my pessimistic mind tells me that most of the spread pussy and big tit member pictures are just there to lure me into buying a membership. So my question for the folks who have been here a while is: what's your experience? Do people do a lot of chatting and blogging, with little actual face-to-face connections? Does anyone have any statistics to show how the site is actually used by folks looking to really connect physically with another person? Can anyone relate their real-life experience of meeting someone through Senior Sizzle?
Thanks, I'm not trying to knock the site, I just want to know if it will really make sense for me to pony up the cash.

I'll definitely bother to meet people, provided that all those "look too good to be true" profiles that indicate there are hot women in my age group with great racks, willing to spread their stuff are real. I'm dubious. It's like Craigslist, 9 times out of 10 (or more), when you respond to an ad you get an auto-response that tries to get you to sign up to some website. Theoretically, one pays a site like Senior Sizzle to avoid such dead ends. My post here was to flesh out (so to speak) the experiences of folks like me who may have overcome their own reticence and found the site paid off for them. At the "standard" level the site is more of an annoyance, unless one is here for the groups and blogs.

The entire reason I'm considering using a site like this is that looking for sex & ladies on my own is easier said than done. People here have a more or less common denominator, with some obvious variation based on preferences, so one has a better idea of what to expect when meeting someone here, versus in the real world.

That makes sense, though I never really said I was looking to get laid easily. Funny you should say that though, becasue the way the site is advertised (look at the main page before you log in) they're clearly trying to lead people to believe that.
And FWIW, I joined as a gold member today...and am looking forward to meeting some interesting people here.

Tasco, that is GatorL7 that unwrittenpages suggested. They do the fantastic broadcasts... 8:30 PM EST Mondays & 9 PM EST Fridays.
It would e best to send them a friend network request... they'll let you in without hastle.
And, join the GatorL7 group. Watching the Gators via the group's chat room is a really great way to do it.
Glad you joined. There are a lot of nice people here, just don't let the a-holes get to you. And, it gets so you automatically ignore most of the commercisl crap.

Thanks lam0611 and RUTHnTOM77 for your input. I get the feeling that Senior Sizzle is rather lax in polcing the bogus members because, hey, anything that drives traffic to the site's ok with them, right? I mean, how weird is it that I get 6 flirts in one day from Ghana, Africa?

You see, this is the kind of info I was looking for in my original post. Except for a brief look-around a few years ago here on Senior Sizzle, I've never done the online dating thing, which is why I was asking about how real things are around here. I guess what it comes down to is finding the needles in the haystack and, even when you find them, the odds that you'll find someone you click with is pretty low. Well, such is life I suppose. Here's to enjoying the hunt...
