What are we doing here ?

12/7/2015

I know, I know, different people have different needs,
some (even though this is a rather direct "Adult
Dating
" site) may even be here for reasons not
related to sex, they may not want to do it but they want to
be around people doing it, even if it's virtual. We
all have our own reasons for doing what we do, and we all are
not exactly alike, and sometimes (most/all of the time?)
it's these differences, sometimes subtle sometimes
extreme which make life interesting to live. Though we
may not like some personalities, in my experience anyway,
it's the differences that stand out and enamor or repel
us from the people we meet. We are by nature social creatures
and interaction is critical to our well-being, solitary
confinement restricts the mind and can lead to insanity
dependent on the duration, as is well documented.

The pursuit of happiness is one of, the key reasons we do
the things we do, but what is happiness, and how can we be
happy without a modicum of "true" freedom?
I'm hoping that I'm not wrong in many of the assumptions
I try not to make but do anyway on a daily basis, we're
not robots and there are some genetically encoded traits
that we can't escape.

People have different social interactions whilst growing
up, and these tend to "modify" the basic genetic
encoding and leads to multiple personality traits, which
lead to the enamored/repulsed reaction previously mentioned
and is not necessarily a bad thing. I'm definitely
growing older, and hopefully wiser, with the passage of
time, and my observation is that pretty much all the time
the people who tend to be trolls/"griefers"
had stimuli in their social upbringing which led to this
attitude as these anti-social type behaviors are not in
my opinion natural, with us being such naturally
social beings. As this behavior is "learned"
and not natural it can be changed, "how" is the
question that has to be asked. It's sometimes basic
human nature to focus on the dark rather than the
light in many circumstances, remember, regardless
of our acceptance of the fact, we're all in the same
boat, even though some people think they have transcended
this simple fact.

Essentially all I'm trying to say is enjoy your pursuit
of happiness, sometimes the journey can be as fulfilling
as arriving at the final destination, it's all a matter
of perspective, and sometimes we miss the forest for the
trees or vice-versa.

BE HAPPY!
