I hate writing these things. Honestly I don't like talking about myself and I am not trying to say I am great listener either. I am an average listener (like most any other guy). Its just hard to write a profile because then people reading it are like "Hey your profile sounds disingenuous" or "You don't sound real" or "You haven't put your life story on here so I won't write back to you to get to know you". What can I say, I am not Shakespeare. What I can say is that I like music a lot (Blues, Rock, Metal, and a lot of other eclectic tastes in music too). I try to go see a new band in the Austin area at least once a month and have a few that I see from time to time. I see a few concerts each year as well. My favorites of late was Van Halen with David Lee Roth and also the Experience Hendrix tour 2012 and 2014. I also like Classical music like Paganini as well as your basic Rock n Roll. I enjoy trying new places to eat and hanging with family and friends. I like to read (a lot about 15 books a year), play and build guitars as well as watch movies (mostly guy stuff, Action, comedy, Sci Fi, Adult :-) but I realize not every movie can be an action hero extravaganza and I am willing to watch something someone else wants to see. I am a nerd, plain and simple, deal with it. I am a computer nerd as well as a book, SciFi, and rock music nerd. On the other hand I also ride motorcycles (currently without one but looking to see when I can acquire a new one), have a wood-shop in my garage (very manly or so our society tells us) for building guitars . I speak two languages and have traveled all over the US and been to Canada, Mexico, South America and Europe. Overall what I am expecting from this site is just to get out and start living life again with someone else who wants to do the same. To do that, it usually requires having a conversation as a starting point to learn more than what a profile can provide as I don't know to many people who reads a profile and goes, "Oh, Hey I want to have sex with that per on a sex site without any further interactions" (I am sure that happens but the % is lower)

My Ideal Person I want a woman that is confident and knows what she likes. I like making decisions but to be honest I don't want to make them all. Both parties should be able to speak their mind and come to an agreement. Someone who is comfortable with who they are in both their body image and the things they do for work and play. I am not looking to jump into a relationship from the start. If one happens I am all to happy to be in a relationship. Otherwise, just some friendly conversation, good food and drink, etc.
